The
Fauxvet® is engineered to deliver the soft, sleek look of a duvet
and eliminate the added washing and housekeeping woes associated with
residential-style duvet covers and inserts. The Fauxvet®
incorporates a reversible functionality with the quilted appearance of
a coverlet on one side and the non-quilted appearance of a duvet cover
on the other side.
Its single piece construction utilizes a high-ounce count of polyester fiberfill for loft. This eliminates the need for a duvet insert, which often requires time-consuming ties or zippers to anchor the insert to the duvet cover. Also, a Fauxvet® requires no special or separate laundering; it washes as conveniently as any polyester coverlet or bedspread.
The Fauxvet® allows for the many custom variations in edging, corner construction, loft amounts, quilting patterns and contrasting backings available with both quilted coverlets and duvets. A designer may take their favorite coverlet styles, their favorite duvet styles and combine them into a singular article of bedding.
