How to Measure

Vertical Blinds

Measure the width and height of the window opening. Measure both width and height at two places and use the smallest measurement. We will make the necessary deductions so your blind will fit properly. Inside mount blinds require a minimum window frame depth of 2¾ in. for bracket installation and 3½ in. louver rotation clearance.

Measure exact width and height of area to be covered. We recommend adding at least 3 in. to each side of window to insure privacy.

Aluminum Mini Blinds, Pleated Shades, Duette Shades, Wood Blinds

Measure the width of window at top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement. Measure the height of the window opening. We will make the necessary deductions so your blind will fit properly. The minimum recess space needed is ½ in. (unless flush mount is desired).

Measure the width and height of the area to be covered. We recommend your blind overlap the window opening by at least 1½ in. on each side for privacy. If mounting brackets beyond the casing, you will need extension brackets. Please let us know when ordering.

Draperies

If rod is already on window: Measure bracket to bracket and add 12" for pairs (2-way draw), add 6" for panels (1-way draw).

If there is no rod: Select desired position for brackets and add 12" for 2-way or 6" for 1-way draw.

Note: We deal in finished drapery widths and lengths, NOT window sizes or rod settings.

Bedspreads

All our bedspreads are made to these standard sizes:

Twin: 81" x 116"

Full: 96" x 116"

Queen: 102" x 118"

King: 120" x 120"

Please measure your bed to ensure proper fit.

Width + (2 x drop) = Total Width

Length + 18" = Total Length

Poly Cotton bedspreads will shrink slightly when washed. Please follow care instructions label.
